Senior Application Architect

Michael is an accomplished senior-level Information Technology Specialist and Manager with a proven ability to bridge technology and business goals to provide productive and maintainable client solutions. He brings 18 years of extensive software solution architecture and hands-on development experience across a diverse range of platforms, architectures, technologies, methodologies, patterns and practices.

Michael serves as the principle Application Architect for all Cordjia Technology Solutions products, ensuring the underlying technology, code and frameworks used are properly engineered to meet the current and future needs of its customer base. He manages and directs the technical efforts of the CTS development team providing technical oversight, architectural frameworks and code consistency to ensure efficient and effective team productivity.

In his previous 10 years with a Fortune 50 company, Michael managed a development team that provided a custom portal-based framework and integrated applications used to create process efficiencies and automation around critical business functions. He also played a critical role in multiple enterprise-wide distributed application development initiatives, providing key managerial, architectural and development leadership in sector initiatives, corporate system reengineering and enhancements, third party integrations and post-acquisition systems consolidation and integration. It is from this experience that Michael has developed deep hands on technical knowledge of high volume multi-channel application acquisition systems, complex strategy engines providing instant decisioning and routing capabilities, judgemental queuing and decisioning applications, dynamic letter/disclosure generation systems, credit bureau scoring and risk assessment integration, secure card deposit procurement and flexible custom branded web acquisition systems.

Michael also served as a principle partner for three years helping to establish and grow a start-up software company in which he provided key leadership for the company's direction as well as the flagship product architecture, design, development, and enhancements. His partnership with the primary client, which involved building a federal retirement benefits modeling platform, was critical to determine and manage strategic product direction ensuring success with respect to competing products.
